Pandemic Project

When the music stops, Bruce’s building projects start.

May – November 2020 –Bruce’s Timber Frame Virus Hut.

Timber framing and “post-and-beam” construction are traditional methods of building with heavy timbers, creating structures using squared-off and carefully fitted and joined timbers with joints secured by large wooden pegs. It is commonplace in wooden buildings through the 19th century. (Wikipedia)

Hi Sher-

It looks very cool! I was thinking, before I looked at the slide show, that Bruce was building a place to have small shows and dances…Congrats on your project. Way more skilled a project than I completed during the same timeframe…Bob K

Fun to see some of the in-between stages that weren’t documented on Instagram. The finished product looks nothing like a product — !
